Gas completes first‑stage compression, then passes through inter‑cooler for temperature reduction before entering second‑stage compression. This design solves the excessive exhaust temperature and limited compression ratio problems of single‑stage roots blowers. Single‑stage roots blower maximum stable differential pressure is 98kPa, while MTRR two‑stage series‑connected roots blower can reach up to 196kPa differential pressure.

The whole unit is supplied on common base frame as complete skid‑mount package.
